Yesterday I did my first biatholon in an attempt to prepare myself for a triatholon! It was a blast. I swam for 25 minutes and biked 12.5 miles in 1 hour. It felt great and today I feel strong and powerful and ready to do some more. Exercise is my new therapy!! I feel like it is healing me and bringing me to where I am supposed to be! I feel more energetic when I am done and I feel like I have accomplished a lot. I am so grateful to be able to move and encourage all of us to get out and move when you are in a funk and can't seem to "get anywhere"! I know we hear this all the time and I used to always say "yeah, yeah, whatever I have work to do" but now I know that when you get out and move you clear your head and feel better about everything!!!
No matter what is happening in your life bad diagnosis, deadline at work, or annoying coworkers who drive you nuts! I guarantee if you get up and move and get away from wherever your head is you will feel better!!! Go to the place that makes you feel good because that is where you are supposed to be!!
Bottom line: Exercise is therapy and makes you feel good so bike on! (or walk, or swim, or run or yoga!)
