This last weekend Alan and I went for a couples retreat at Whitehaven bed-and-breakfast in Minoqua, Wisconsin. It was a mindfulness (I will talk more about this in future posts) retreat so it was right up my alley and we had a blast. It was very interesting to find out that in order for couples to mesh we must work on ourselves and learn to love ourselves in order to work better together. Such a novel thought and yet it makes sense because if you love yourself you can actually give more love to other people. The Whitehaven B and B is actually a beautiful place on white fish lake. They have done an amazing job to rebuild a really old structure so it's actually a historic site!
The good and bad thing about going on this retreat was it was really a good retreat to meet a lot of new people but I don't know if people actually realize how much energy you expend when you meet new people and have to socialize. So having a lower energy level as it is I'm actually really quite exhausted today. I did discover a great juice on the way home. This juice is called evolution. I am including some pictures of it so you guys can see. I had the evolution super greens and it was yummy and it tasted great. It actually tasted a lot like Willy Streets' "Green Dream" with a shot of wheat grass!! Check it out!!
