Love this great weather we are having here in wisconsin. Got out on the bike yesterday and it was a blast. Did only 10 miles to get started but what a start it was.

So I want to commit to being awesome this summer by doing what I can each day to increase the power and strength of my mind and body. What about you? Can you commit to being awesome one day at a time??

The challenge has been made!! What does being awesome entail you ask? Doing something good for YOU every day whether its drink really good vege juice, make a great healthy smoothie, ride 10 miles on your bike, swim for an hour, take a 30 minute walk every day or whatever makes YOU feel good!!! Rock the outdoors and smell the proverbial roses!

Lots of love and hugs,

Leslie

<![CDATA[Rethink videos and such]]>Fri, 20 Feb 2015 17:57:49 GMThttp://leslierethinkshealth.weebly.com/blog/rethink-videos-and-suchHi,

Ok, so I have a hard time writing down all that I want to say so I am going to start doing video logs. These will be short 3-5 minute information videos about what I went through and what I am doing now to keep my beautiful self alive. I hope they will give you some inspiration and a reason to appreciate the awesomeness that is you as well. I feel very compelled to share what I have done and the inspiration that I have received from many, many sources out in this big beautiful world we live in!! Do NOT let a day go by that you don't appreciate how amazingly awesome your body and mind are and how great it is to live on this physical planet in this time!!!

We are living in one of the most peaceful times in history and evolving the human race to amazing things!!! Take a moment to say thank you to God, the source of all that is, and appreciate all that has been given to you and will continue to be given to you. I have found that appreciation is the key to a great life. I know I have soooo much to be thankful for and I am continually trying to be grateful. Even for the person that cut me off today or the coffee that spilled all over me or the person that called me a not so nice word. These are all things to appreciate because it shows what we don't want and amplifies what we do want!

Rock your life today! Say thank you to the person that just pissed you off!! see what happens to them when you are showing gratitude for the adversity! It will make you feel good and that my friend is what is THE most important thing in your life today and always!!! When you feel good, everyone around you feels good!!!

Peace and Much Love always,

Leslie

<![CDATA[Rethink Movement: Yoga]]>Mon, 05 Jan 2015 14:20:35 GMThttp://leslierethinkshealth.weebly.com/blog/rethink-movement-yogaHappy New Year!!!

Hope you had an awesome end to 2014 and are ready for an amazig 2015! Expect something amazingly awesome today and every day of 2015. This is a powerful year, full of energy, life and excitement!!

I want to take the bull by the horns (which you know is dangerous right...) and really do some fun things this year but first I have to get my house in the right order and that requires Yoga!! To me yoga has become a Zen thing. I really LOVE the feel of my body when I get centered and do some downward dogs and child poses (favorite pose ever!!). There is a sense of peace that comes over my body and I feel alive when I flow through the poses of yoga. I finally figured out how to do it so it is beneficial to my body. It seems that any ailment you have in your body can be fixed or at least feel better by doing some yoga. Mind you, it did take me quite a bit of time to figure this out. I kept going to the classes and watching what each teacher was able to teach me and then I have started doing flows on my own. Yeah!!!

So all I am saying is try Yoga this year and see if you "flow" better through life!!

Peace and Lots of love,

Leslie

<![CDATA[Rethinking Christmas Caroling...]]>Thu, 18 Dec 2014 22:36:27 GMThttp://leslierethinkshealth.weebly.com/blog/rethinking-christmas-carolingHi,

So which one of you loves hearing Christmas carols? Yeah me too!! I love the Christmas carols! I love hearing them, I love what they have to say and I love when people are actually singing them while outside my house. I was listening to Life 102.5 today and heard the announcer talk about going Christmas caroling with his church. He told a little about the history of caroling and how it started as people just getting together to sing the carols and then they took it "on the road" and started to go to peoples houses. I remember caroling when I was young and I thought it was so much fun as a kid! We would mostly play snowball fights or do some sledding down tiny hills!!! So many great memories.

What about you? Do you have any caroling memories?

Peace and Much Love,

Leslie

<![CDATA[Rethink : "The beauty of the first snow..."]]>Mon, 17 Nov 2014 22:56:28 GMThttp://leslierethinkshealth.weebly.com/blog/rethink-the-beauty-of-the-first-snowHi,

Just a thought about the first snow. It is always so beautiful when it first starts falling and gently floats to the ground. Each flake falling individually from the sky full of packs of these flakes. As each flake falls to the ground, there is a soft whisper as it lands and settles into the small pile that is beginning to gather. More and more come down and a beautiful white blanket begins to appear. It is stunning really, breathtaking if you will. As the first snow leads to the next snow and the next inches and the next beautiful flake, a quiet hush falls across the land and lulls us into a beautiful hibernation of winter.
How are you going to use your hibernation?

I am going to use mine to reconnect with myself, find time to exercise, and find food that I like to eat and it likes me!

Peace and much love,

Leslie]]>
